Experience

I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College. I am currently attending New York University to obtain my master's degree in Literary Reportage. I also have a Documentary Film degree from George Washington University. I have experience tutoring in a variety of subjects such as English, Writing, Essays, and standardized test prep for the ACT, GRE, PSAT, and SAT.My main goal in tutoring students is to help them increase their Vocabulary, Writing Skills, and Reading Comprehension. My goal is to reach a point where students can answer questions on their own without too much help. I am a very patient person, and I watch students closely to determine where they are lacking the most. I then focus on that area. I believe this method allows students to learn in a more effective and efficient manner. When I am not tutoring, I like to read, travel, and watch a variety of movies, especially documentaries, and sports. I also love to walk around the beautiful city of Boston and explore new things.
