I am located in Washington, DC. I have almost a decade of experience tutoring, teaching, and working as a teacher's assistant. My experience started in 10th grade and has been building ever since. I've worked with pupils as young as eight years old up to adults in their mid-forties. The subjects I have the most background in are math, science, and Spanish. During my undergraduate program at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, I majored in nutrition and minored in chemistry. While I was there, my elective courses were Spanish and biology. My background in math and science was nurtured during my attendance at the boarding school North Carolina School of Science (NCSSM). Here, I went through five courses of college-level math. During graduate school at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and in my career, I found an opportunity to work as an editor. I edited projects that dealt with written and a large amount of data. I thoroughly enjoyed this position.In my tutoring, I lean towards students who want to genuinely learn and just need assistance with fully comprehending the material, or a different approach from what they are getting in class. Outside of working, I like doing yoga and preparing for triathlons. I also like cooking and following nutritional diets.
