I attended the University of Central Florida where I acquired my bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders with a special focus on deaf education. Following graduation from UCF, I became a certified teacher in the state of Florida. I am currently employed by the Palm Beach County School District. Along with my academic experience, I have worked with educational programs and even had the privilege to work at a camp for developmentally disabled children. While I believe that my students are strongly educated, they do have some handicaps that can set them back as far as the learning process goes. Because of this, I spend time addressing their individual needs through tailored lesson plans that are created to assist the student in the areas in which he/she needs assistance. It is important that I build a strong bond with each of my students. I have helped many students of all levels and ages prepare themselves for college tests and essays. I also offer my tutoring services in the subjects of composition, reading, and public speaking. I am a dedicated individual who wants every single one of my clients to reach for the stars and thrive. When I am not working with others, I can be found keeping busy outdoors. I also have a love of dance and basketball.
