Experience
As a tutor, I strongly believe that there is more than one method of teaching for the variety of students that I have taught. In my experiences, I have taught students of many different ages and with many different backgrounds. From the high school and college English language students who I tutored in Cameroon to the French language students who I have helped with fluency, every student has a different style of learning. This being said, it is extremely important to personally understand a student's needs, aspirations, and comprehension speed in order to create an effectively structured lesson plan. In addition to my experience tutoring languages, I also have experience helping people with world history. I have a passion for all things cultural and feel very fulfilled when I have the opportunity to share and explore this passion with others. My desire to expand my mind culturally was ignited when I chose to join the Peace Corps. I served in Cameroon. My time was spent aiding in community development. This international pursuit occurred after I graduated from George Washington University with my BA. My specialization is in international affairs. My minor area of study was French literature. In my free time, I like to adventure with friends and read about my next travel expedition.
