Education

Florida State University - BS, Elementary Education

Experience

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Florida State, where I also spent a lot of my time focusing on the fields of Graphic Design and Biology. I am a certified professional educator from the Florida State Education Department and have endorsements in both ESOL and reading. Following my time in school, I worked teaching fourth grade Social Studies and Reading, as well as working in retail managing a store and spending a little time doing some traveling. As part of that job, I also acted as a tutor for children who were struggling and needed additional assistance in those subjects, as well as those who were preparing for the FCAT. I am very passionate regarding Reading, and I am also comfortable teaching the subjects of Math and Science. Additionally, I act as an enrollment coordinator and consultant at a local school. In my free time I love creating art, attending concerts, staying active in soccer and rugby, reading, and taking my pets to the beach.
