Experience
I am currently taking a break from full-time teaching, while I work to develop a computer game. I received my master's in Mathematics at Wesleyan University Middletown in Connecticut. I have extensive experience working with youth as a technology camp instructor and as a teacher in programming and developing computer games. Several years ago, I was able to travel to Africa with a volunteer group of teenagers from across the United States to build a school through a fantastic nonprofit, Building with Books. I created a start-up company with a colleague and Brown University's Program in Innovation Management (PRIME) after my graduation. I am available to tutor a vast assortment of Mathematics and also to assist students in standardized test preparation. My future goals include developing a Montessori school, which will work to break down the constraints of current education. I see the school operating without specified grades or classrooms divided by subject, but with a hands-on and open learning environment. I believe that every student has the ability to become a generous if someone helps to unlock it. When I am not working, I play water polo, enjoy video games, and watching Netflix.
