I enjoy helping students gain the skills needed to succeed in academics. I believe in every student's ability to learn and excel, and will work to discover the unique learning style of each of my students. It is important to me to interact with my students, rather than teaching "at" them, so that they are engaged in the learning process. I am available to tutor students in a broad range of subjects including Spanish, English, writing, American history, study skills and organization, social studies, and public speaking.I earned my Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. I went on to complete my Master of Science in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. I am currently working on my Master of Education at Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C. where I study curriculum and instruction with an Educating for Change concentration. I have years of experience in tutoring and teaching in a number of settings. Writing is one of my strengths, and an activity I enjoy. In my free time I like exploring various cuisines, music, travel, and cheerleading.
