Located in Washington, DC, I am a tutor with a passion for cultivating life long learners in all walks of life. I use my education, work, and world travels to create engaging learning experiences for my students. I have a passion for teaching others that has continued to be a steady constant in my life. I have a PhD. in German Studies from Georgetown University, and a master's degree in Humanities from the University of Chicago. I am a lifelong learner, with a curiosity and an extremely positive attitude towards learning that helps me make learning fun. I am able to teach students across many age groups and skill levels. In addition to classroom teaching, I enjoy reading, music, yoga, and traveling. I excel at tutoring a variety of subjects, but I am most passionate about sharing my knowledge in Reading, German, Writing, Essay Editing, Grammar, Public Speaking, and English. Currently, I teach at the German Language School, and I have teaching experience in the U.S., Austria, and Germany. My previous teaching experiences have reinforced the value and impact of one-on-one learning. I enjoy showing students that learning can happen in many settings other than a classroom. It is a welcomed challenged for me to engage students by making the material interesting and relatable.
