Experience

I will soon receive my bachelor's degree in English and Psychology from Howard University. My long-term goal is to become a School Superintendent and a Child Welfare Attorney. I love to help students with their tutoring needs! I traveled to many countries in Europe and Northern Africa while I was studying abroad in Spain. During those months, I tutored students in elementary, middle, and high school in English as a second language. I also recently discovered a love of mathematics, so I am able to work with students who need extra help on elementary mathematics, geometry, and algebra. I can also help students in introductory Spanish, and with English skills like grammar, mechanics, reading comprehension, and writing. While working with my students, I also aim to help them improve their study skills while still having fun! When a subject is engaging, students are more likely to keep studying and working hard on it in the future, and will continue to excel. When I am not working to educate the next generation, I love to play basketball and tennis. I also love traveling and writing, and I have started learning about video editing as well!
