College of William and Mary - BA, History/Religious Studies , Princeton Theological Seminary - M.Div., Religion
I am an experienced instructor who has taught Social Studies and Language Arts at a little school in a disadvantaged neighborhood in New Haven, CT. My history with tutoring is long, and I have mentored students in all subjects. I earned my first degree from the College of William and Mary. There, I had dual majors: Religious Studies and History. Now, I am nearing my PhD at Princeton Theological Seminary here in Pennsylvania. Originally, I am from Texas. So, you could say that I have had a lot of variation in my journey of life, and I have worked with people of all walks. My love and compassion for other people has driven all of my education and career decisions. I see potential in others, and I want to help them any time I get the chance. Learning is another passion of mine. Whenever I can bring people knowledge, it enriches my life greatly. Currently, I work with at-risk children in Trenton through a program that intervenes in the lives of students with high potential. It is such a rewarding job, bringing these kids out of cycles of poverty and crime, and opening the door to a prosperous future for them.I am a real country music enthusiast, and sometimes I will even play along on my guitar. I like to stay active in many different types of sports as well.
