Experience

Math is a passion of mine, and nothing makes me happier than to be able to work with others and watch them succeed in their studies. I know Math is often an issue for many students, but I want to help them work past that. Once they are able to solve the problems on their own, I know I've done my job. I also help those wanting to learn English.I have worked as a tutor since I was in middle school, helping my peers in their subjects. I've volunteered at local public schools, and even worked in a elementary setting. I am here to assist students in Elementary and Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1,2 and 3/4, Geometry Pre-Calculus, Literature, Phonics, Essay Editing, College Essays, American History, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, U.S. Government and Politics, and AP subjects.I graduated from Connecticut College, with a major in Government, and a minor in Education and Architectural Studies. I love to read, and I usually have a book with me most of the time. Otherwise, I enjoy visiting museums, in particular, the Air and Space museum. I'm also a big fan of ice cream.
