Private tutor in Washington, DC
Syracuse University - B.S., Advertising
I'm a Pennsylvania native currently living in downtown DC with my wife. I graduated from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with my Bachelor of Science in advertising and a minor in anthropology. I am a communications professional with skills developed by careers in writing, public relations, editorial consulting, and writing throughout Washington, D.C., and Seattle. My experiences have taught me a lot about the importance of a solid education. Though I am a capable tutor in numerous subjects, I prefer to teach history and writing. I am passionate and fluent in both subjects. As a tutor, my goal is to provide students with the writing skills and tools necessary to achieve success professionally and academically. My tutoring sessions are creative and fun with a focus on the student as an individual. I can provide students with assistance in creative writing, fiction writing, essay writing and editing, and the GMAT, among other important subjects. My goal is to ensure that each student's writing assignments is done to the best of their abilities. Outside of tutoring, I have a passion for preserving historic sites around Washington, D.C., community events, and improvisational theatre. I enjoy gardening, urban hiking, photography, and kayaking.
