Private tutor in Washington, DC
Boston College - BA, English , University of Cambridge - LL.M, International Law
I earned my bachelor's degree at Boston College, my JD at Villanova University, and my LL.M. at the University of Cambridge. While attending Boston College, I held a major in English Literature and a minor in International Relationships. I now enjoy passing on the extensive knowledge I have accumulated as a student to others. However, I began tutoring when I was in high school and part of the honor society. During college, I participated in college writing workshops where I helped fellow students write and edit their essays and other papers, and I also tutored an exchange student from Ecuador. While attending law school, I held a role as a teaching assistant. There, I helped teach constitutional law, torts and contracts, international law, and civil procedure classes.I tutor a variety of subjects, but my favorite subjects to tutor include writing, English literature, and law courses. I can also tutor many English classes, algebra 1 and 2, biology, chemistry, Spanish 1 through 4, public speaking, science, and other various courses. In addition, I enjoy helping students prepare for standardized tests, including the SAT. When not tutoring, I am a big fan of tennis, and I like both watching and playing it. I also enjoy watching good television shows and movies, and my favorite television show right now is Homeland.
