I studied abroad in Paris, France through my college in 2008 for a year. While in Paris, I took all my courses in French, lived with a host family who only spoke French, and tutored a French elementary school student four days a week. When I returned for my senior year, I worked as a French Teaching Assistant (T.A.) for a year. I also worked with French speaking clients at an international car rental agency called AutoEurope where I operated only in French. Furthermore, I managed an after-school homework club that would meet after school hours where I would be responsible for anywhere between 10-20 students. Two years ago, I tutored a high school sophomore during his first year in French. I have worked with two clients since then on more of a short-term basis.

Hobbies
I really enjoy running (half marathon runner), biking, swimming, tennis, basketball, kayaking, reading, and traveling. I connect well with all students, but particularly with middle and high school students as I have had the most experience with these two demographics. I have a brother who is 9 years younger than me and he does a pretty good job of keeping me cool and hip.
