McDaniel College - BA, English Education

I attended McDaniel College to earn my bachelor of arts degree in English literature, earning a secondary education minor as well. I passed my Praxis II exams and I'm officially certified as a teacher. I would like to become a high school or middle school level English teacher in Washington DC. As a tutor, I like the one-on-one approach because I can help students directly to achieve their goals and realize their full academic potential. Often students are left behind in the classroom if they struggle with a concept, and tutoring is a great way to fill those gaps and help students fully understand a subject. When I have free time, I enjoy walking dogs, playing lacrosse, exploring Washington DC, and traveling.
