Experience

I have worked as a tutor in college and focused on math studies. While I held this position, I was promoted to a head tutor position. I helped individuals better learn the basics of math as well as more difficult topics such as calculus 2. I have experience also working as a 5th grade math teacher. I feel that I'm good at what I do because I listen to each person that I work with. I want to truly understand the misunderstandings that they are having. I like to stay positive and bring happiness to the studying of math. I also love to connect with my students, especially those who have struggled with math in the past. I can help others better learn why math is an important part of everyday life. I can help with many math topics such as trigonometry, algebra, calculus, middle school level math, and SAT math prep. When I'm not tutoring or teaching, I like to watch football, play lacrosse, and knit. I also like to try new restaurants in the area.
