Experience
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. While working toward my degree, I began tutoring students in middle school, and I continued to tutor both middle and high school students after graduation.I come from a family filled with teachers, which I believe helped to inspire my love for teaching, instilled in me a desire to work in the field of education, and prompted me to share my love of learning with other people. I believe that students' learning styles differ, and try my best to use multiple strategies so that I can give each student a personalized learning experience. I offer tutoring services in a wide range of subjects, including elementary and middle school math; pre-algebra, algebra I and II, geometry, arithmetic, anatomy, biology, chemistry, science, and physiology. I'm also available to tutor students in grammar and English, as well as help students with test prep so that they are prepared to take the ACT and SAT. Additionally, I like to help students with essay editing and developing good study skills. In my free time, I enjoy running, cycling, and basketball. I also like to read, and appreciate how relaxing it is to enjoy a good book.
