Experience
Taught English literature and grammar classes in Ecuador for seven months. Taught English literature and grammar and American cultural studies in Washington DC. I love history both American and European. I received Departmental honors for my thesis on British fascism. I participated in an intensive Holocaust study abroad trip in Eastern Europe in 2003. In law school I studied Constitutional law. I passed the AP American history test and would love to help others do the same. I love teaching and bringing the world of history and literature alive for my students. I love writing and see it as a way to express oneself. I want to help students appreciate that world. It opens their world so much and connects them in all kinds of different ways. I interned in the U.S Senate and did a clerkship in law school on a major committee so I understood politics and government and the individual's place in it. I want to help students understand that world. I presented my undergraduate thesis at NCUR---the National Conference of Undergraduate Research.

Hobbies
I love playing soccer. I play on two soccer leagues in DC. I also love outdoor stuff such as hiking and skiing and running. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and studying Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish and am starting to study French and Russian.
