Experience

I am an experienced tutor who is currently in pursuit of an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. My major is Finance, as I am pretty mathematically inclined. I have worked as an intern in a middle school classroom, and I spent much of my time in my high school days tutoring my peers during free periods. The subject I enjoy the most is math, and I will instruct on any form of it, from beginners' Algebra to advanced Calculus. I realize that many people view the topic as daunting, but I find a lot of satisfaction in numbers. I want to bring my zeal to the lives of others.I prefer to put my focus into the areas where students are experiencing weakness. Together, we can uncover why certain concepts seem more difficult and work to improve performance. I will use the most appropriate method for conveying critical information to each individual student. They can then apply that method for use in future subjects. When I'm not spending my time on equations and formulas, I am an avid sportsman in the game of tennis. I am a member of Georgetown's tennis club team. Another hobby of mine is the piano, which I have played for a very long time. I'm an explorer, too, and I enjoy the thrill of discovering new things and locations.
