I am currently a junior at the University of Miami. I am majoring in human and social development, international studies, and philosophy. After I graduate as an undergrad, I plan on taking a year off to relax a little bit and spend some time focusing on public interest law. I have been tutoring since I was a small child. At seven years old, I would work with my younger brother on science projects. I was also a camp counselor as a teenager. During this time, I managed and taught children between the ages of 5 and 10. Following my time tutoring at summer camps, I became interested in professional tutoring. While as a professional tutor, I spent time tutoring middle school aged children in reading, science, and math. I also helped many students with Spanish, various AP classes, PSAT preparation, and SAT preparation. I believe that one of my best strengths is organization. Because of this, I have a love of helping my students get organized. This also comes with teaching them the art of effective note taking. It is amazing how much better a student will do in their courses once he/she is organized. I have a bubbly personality. Along with my personable personality, I am patient, prompt, encouraging, and I have a real passion for helping others achieve their fullest potential.
