I completed my undergraduate coursework at Georgetown University and graduated BSFS International Politics - Foreign Policy and Policy Processes in 2010. My coursework was centered on a liberal arts education and required extensive study of political science, history, economics, and civics. I also studied Spanish as part of the curriculum and graduated with Full Professional Fluency in the language.
Experience
I think it's important to understand the practical aspects of what we're learning, so I strive to incorporate real world experiences into my lessons whenever applicable. 10 years of experience as a tutor; I have taught a variety of ages (ranged 3 - 40) with a primary focus on high school education and prep. I also have experience creating individualized lesson plans for students in order to ensure that they're meeting quarterly and semester goals. 1 year as a Spanish and Social Studies teacher at Gonzaga College High School. 1 year as an English and American Civics teacher in Spain.
