Experience

Over the many years I have spent as an educator, I have realized that I have continued to grow: not just in terms of my teaching skills and abilities, but also in regards to my enthusiasm and eagerness to see my students achieve their academic goals, succeed in enriching their knowledge, score highly in class, and become more confident and engaged learners. Tutoring has become an experience in my life that I associate with feelings of accomplishment, fulfillment, and deep satisfaction, driving me to pursue as many opportunities to take on new students as I can. I received my education at the University of North Carolina, which has enabled me to teach a wide range of subjects to students of all ages and abilities. Being a student for a long period of time has also given me a multitude of organizational skills, study habits, and strategies, allowing me to provide a huge variety of tips and tricks to my students that will no doubt prove useful throughout the rest of their academic careers. I have spent over three years both teaching and tutoring students in the areas of Mathematics and Science, including Algebra, Biology, Physiology, and preparation for standardized tests like the SAT and MCAT. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and traveling.
