Education

I graduated from The Catholic University of America in May of 2013. I received a BA in American Politics and Theology. I made deans list all but one semester while I studied. I was a member of the Theta Alpha Kappa and Pi Gamma Mu honor societies. Next September, I will start my Masters of Business Degree.

Experience

In college, I volunteered at Tubman Elementary School in Columbia Heights with a program called For Love of Children. This program partnered low income students who needed academic help with college students three days a week after school. It was a great way to not only help students academically, but to mentor them as well. It was my experience and belief that students who are encouraged and prepared, stay in school longer and do much better.

Hobbies

My interests include politics, sports, running, and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling on the weekends and enjoy drinking coffee. The older I get, the more I even enjoy reading. As a kid, my parents tried everything under the sun to get me to read- nothing worked. My mom all but wrote my book reports for me. Now, at 25, I can say I finally enjoy it.
