Private tutor in Washington, DC

University of Richmond - Bachelors, Public Health (Minors in Biology and Spanish

I recently earned my degree in Public Health with minors in Biology and Spanish from the University of Richmond. My teaching experience includes time I spent teaching in Peru and Spain. I am also near fluent in Spanish. Positive thinking, self confidence, and hard work have incredible power in life. I'm a strong believer that practice truly does make perfect. I use this theory in my tutoring sessions as I bring practice problems into as many of the sessions as I can. This is also a good way to become comfortable in learning and understanding material. I'm available for tutoring in the science fields of anatomy, physiology, and biology. My experience and understanding of the Spanish language makes me available for tutoring all levels of Spanish. I can provide tutoring help in American History and European History as well as geography. Additionally, I can tutor in social studies subjects, as well as PSAT and SAT test prep. My experience also includes tutoring at the AP class level.  I can provide tutoring for all aspects of English including reading, writing, editing, and literature, including college-level essay work. Additionally, I am experienced in public speaking and can tutor on this as well. In my free time, I  enjoy reading, writing, playing soccer, being outside, being with friends, and exploring my new home of Washington, DC.
