University of Central Florida - Bachelors, Mathematics , University of Delaware - Masters, Mathematics

I received my bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida and my master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Delaware. I am presently employed as a data scientist. I have a true passion for my field and teaching others about mathematics. I find I greatly miss my time in an academic setting, and feel tutoring is one of the best ways to stay connected to the world of academia. I enjoy teaching many high school and college-level mathematics courses, including algebra 1, algebra 2, calculus 1-3, differential equations, precalculus, multivariable calculus, and associated AP courses. I also find it rewarding to help students prepare for the math portions of their upcoming exams.I take the time to learn about my students and their particular academic strengths and challenges. I prepare individual lessons based on this information in order to build their foundational knowledge and increase their conceptual understanding. When I'm not working, I enjoy running, rock climbing, board games, video games, reading, coding, and watching documentaries.
