Experience
While achieving academic success can be difficult to do, setting obtainable goals is an important part of progress. It is a very rewarding experience to achieve one's goal. As a teacher, I like to work closely alongside students, where I help them pinpoint their difficulties and guide them in ways to overcome these obstacles.Because every student learns differently, I like to customize my lessons to fit the individual's needs. It is very important to highlight the student's strengths, and use these areas to help him or her overcome weaknesses. Rather than focus on boring memorization techniques, I like to keep my students engaged through a series of fun and exciting activities. I work hard to introduce a wide range of skills and techniques that work best for each individual learner.I attended Brandeis University, where I received a bachelor's degree in educational studies and psychology. I am currently in graduate school, where I am working towards an advanced degree in psychology. I love working with students of all ages and backgrounds, where I get the opportunity to form bonds with my students and help them succeed in all areas of their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and learning new things. I also enjoy cooking and dancing.
