Experience

I've taught students between the fifth and 12th grades for the past five years, and I'm currently teaching high school Spanish. I love mentoring young people and form connections with them to help them grow and find success. I believe students learn best when material is related to things they know and care about, or when it can be shown in the real world. This help students visualize concepts and retain information. I'm a strong Spanish teacher and tutor thanks to the fact I speak Spanish natively and interact with Spanish-speaking people on a daily basis. I can provide legitimate scenarios and interactions to simulate immersion as much as possible, which helps students develop a solid understanding of the language and motivates them to become fluent. My other interest is coaching and playing sports. I enjoy football, baseball, soccer, and basketball.
