Education

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - Bachelors, Journalism

Experience

I attended UNC - Chapel Hill for my bachelor's degree in journalism. I tutored my peers as a college student, helping them with their writing skills and their understanding of Mandarin Chinese. After I finished my degree, I taught ESL in China as a teacher and tutor to students of all ages. I focused on providing engaging and diverse lessons that were effective but also interesting and fun. I also had the opportunity to work for a Chinese radio station as a news editor, where I coached reporters on grammar and writing skills. I believe every student can learn challenging subjects when they develop problem-solving skills and get in a lot of practice. I'm excited to work alongside students to help them reach their goals. In my free time, I enjoy running, following current affairs, writing, and reading.
