Education

Experience

I received my education from American University in Washington, D.C. While attending the university, I concentrated on classes in English language education. The majority of my teaching experience has been in ESL and Algebra. In addition, I am very qualified to tutor a variety of other subjects, such as English, Spanish, and American History. My experience in English also includes aspects of grammar, reading, writing, and vocabulary. I have assisted students in preparation for high stakes exams, including the SAT and PSAT. I am able to help students with study skills and organization, and with writing college essays. I truly enjoy watching as students increase their comprehension of a lesson and begin to appreciate the studying process. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing sports.
