I hold a Masters degree from Princeton University in Public Affairs, with a concentration in economics and public policy. I also completed a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Statistics and a minor in Mathematics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. I've taken multiple semesters of graduate-level econometrics and have a strong background in economics and math topics. I also have experience helping students with their senior thesis.
Experience
During my graduate work at Princeton I worked as first a tutor and then a teaching assistant for graduate level statistics, economics and econometrics. When I was in college at the University of Pennsylvania I worked as a Teaching Assistant for 2 years, first for Finance 101 and then for Business Economics and Public Policy. This work involved writing and grading tests, problem sets and essays. As a Teaching Assistant, I also taught two hours of recitations a week, where I would prep materials and review what was covered in class and would guide students through practice questions. I believe that all students can come to learn and excel in math with some patience and the right tools to make the subject interesting and fun. I am available to provide traditional tutoring in ACT math, SAT math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Economics, and Econometrics. I also enjoy helping students work on their economics papers and senior thesis, and can provide support and feedback in writing an excellent research paper. Rate is $70/hour
